LipoAktiv Glu 60 contains 60% rumen-protected sugar and is used to deliver glucose and sucrose to the small intestine of ruminants. During periods such as peri-partum, early lactation or heat stress, the animal's energy requirements exceed its energy intake, requiring the liver to produce additional glucose. By supplying bypass sugar, we reduce the burden on the liver and improve its efficiency. The glucose is digested post-ruminally and absorbed directly into the bloodstream.
